In the past, physical therapists in Texas were not permitted to use telehealth to see patients. However with the pandemic this has temporarily been changed so that we may see our patients (past, present and new) from the comfort of their own home. We do so using facetime, zoom, google duo, etc. This way we can still provide our patients with the care they need and deserve. We can also perform your initial evaluation via telehealth to help make things easier for you. If you would prefer to come in for your very first visit with us then switch to telehealth visits, we can do that too.

We are currently seeing patients via Tele Health to help them cope with pain and dysfunction during these times of shelter in place.  All you need is some means of audio + video communication (something like zoom or face time works) and you are all set!

Via Telehealth we can:

Evaluate you (find the problem)

Find a solution

Teach you to heal yourself

Monitor your progress

Answer questions about your pain

Keep you safe at home and GET YOU HEALTHY!

You do not need to have gym equipment at home in order to be able to participate in Tele Health Services. Our therapists will be able to work with you and your current home environment to keep you on track towards your goals!

Who Qualifies for Tele-Health?

Everyone in Texas is eligible for tele-health with the exception of Medicare patients. Medicare has not yet approved tele-health but will allow a weekly e-visit to touch base with your provider. Please contact us for more information regarding Medicare e-visits. We are also able to perform initial evaluations through our virtual therapy services. If we do not feel like we can successfully evaluate your condition through video or over the phone, we may ask that you come into the clinic for the initial evaluation. Follow-up visits can be done virtually.

Insurance vs Private Pay

The Texas government has given us special provision to be more accessible to patients in this time of need at minimal cost to the patient.  We are not collecting co-pays at this time for Tele Health Services. We will bill the visits to insurance, and once we hear back from your insurance provider we will bill the remaining balance to you. At this point in time, we are unable to provide you with specifics as to what your co-pay would be as insurance companies have not determined what the financial responsibility will be for the patient for virtual physical therapy services.

We are also running our “30 for $30” program for people that may find themselves without insurance benefits at this time. This offer includes a 30 minute virtual appointment with your physical therapist as well as emails for updated home exercise programs to maintain your progress and keep working towards your goals.

If you currently have insurance, but would prefer to take advantage of our “30 for $30” program this is also an option for you! This will not be billed to your insurance and does not go towards meeting your deductible.

Appointment Times

Tele Health visits will be very similar to an in-clinic visit. You will have one on one time with your physical therapist, they will be able to answer any questions you have, provide you with therapeutic interventions during your treatment time, and provide you with an update home exercise program. We will work with your schedule to set up an appointment time that is convenient for you! Below is a list of each of our physical therapists working hours as well as their contact information.
