I developed an interest in physical therapy in college when I learned how intricate the human body is and how exercise plays an integral role in recovering from surgery or injury. I earned my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I have an interest in orthopedic conditions and have since completed a fellowship training through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, which is a highly specialized subset representing less than 1% of all physical therapists.
