Dr. Karen Webber, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

A proud Baylor Bear and San Antonio native, Karen earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor University before receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas State University. She later completed Fellowship training through the Manual Therapy Institute, earning her FAAOMPT credential.

Before pursuing physical therapy, Karen taught both eighth-grade and freshman students. She often tells people that physical therapy is “everything I loved about teaching and none of the things I hated.” After observing physical therapists and seeing the impact they had on people’s lives, she knew it was the right career path for her.

Karen particularly enjoys working with gymnasts, runners, cheerleaders, active adults, and post-operative patients. She loves helping people return to the sports, activities, and lifestyles that are important to them.

In addition to treating patients, Karen serves as a cheer coach for Kinetic Kids, helping children with special needs experience the joy, confidence, and sense of accomplishment that come through sports and recreation. Her coaching experience gives her a unique appreciation for the physical and mental demands placed on athletes of all ages.

Outside of the clinic, Karen enjoys horseback riding, running, reading, and listening to live music. She is passionate about building relationships with her patients and empowering them to live active, healthy lives.
